Affiliate Disclosure
Full transparency on the affiliate relationships behind this site.
Our material connection (FTC 16 CFR Part 255)
BanksForCrypto contains affiliate links. When you open an account or buy a product through one of these links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Under the United States Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255), we disclose this material connection clearly and conspicuously. Affiliate links are marked rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page source, and an affiliate notice appears before every monetised call-to-action.
Networks we work with
We participate in the following affiliate networks and programmes: Impact, Awin, Direct partner programmes.
Some platforms (for example hardware-wallet makers and several exchanges) run their own direct referral programmes rather than going through a network. Every outbound affiliate URL is centralised in our code and tagged with our own campaign parameters; we never embed untracked third-party links in editorial copy.
Editorial independence
Affiliate commissions do not influence our rankings or scores. Every platform is scored on a transparent, weighted rubric — regulatory safety, yield, fees, features, and user experience — and the same rubric is applied whether or not a platform pays us. We rank platforms that pay us no commission, and we publish negative findings about platforms that do. The full scoring method is in our methodology.
What it costs you
Nothing. Commissions are paid by the platform out of its own marketing budget — your rate, fee, or bonus is identical whether you use our link or go direct. Affiliate revenue is what lets us keep the site free to read and free of display advertising.
Tracking & your data
Affiliate clicks are measured with first-party analytics and the networks’ own tracking, which is gated behind your cookie-consent choice. For what we collect, how long we keep it, and how to opt out, see our privacy policy.
