About
I am Stephan Kulik, the editor-in-chief of BanksForCrypto. I founded the site under Kulik Media UG (Germany) to solve one problem: finding an honest, independent comparison of crypto banks, exchanges, wallets, and payment processors without the promotional noise that dominates most review sites.
What I do
I personally open accounts on the platforms I review. I test withdrawals, card activation, KYC flows, and customer support. I read regulator filings — MiCA CASP licenses, FDIC applications, FCA registers, BaFin approvals — and track each platform's regulatory status in real time. I publish scores on a transparent rubric weighted by regulatory safety (20%), yield (15%), banking integration (13%), debit card (12%), fees (12%), coin selection (10%), UX (10%), and customer support (8%). Why I can do this credibly
My background spans fintech product work and editorial across multiple markets (EU, US, LATAM, Asia). I speak English, German, Spanish, Russian, and some Arabic — which is why BanksForCrypto publishes in those four languages plus English, with locale-specific regulatory context per market.

BanksForCrypto earns revenue from affiliate links when readers open accounts at platforms we recommend. Affiliate commissions do not influence scores. The scoring rubric is fixed; affiliate status of a platform is never a scoring input.
