Crypto.com review

Biggest card rewards — but buyer beware

The verdict
6.7 / 10 · CONSIDER

The most feature-rich crypto card program globally, but a 1.3 Trustpilot score and a collapsed CRO token make it hard to recommend without caveats.

◆ BUY IT IF
  • Largest crypto Visa card program globally
  • Up to 8% cashback in CRO on all spending
  • 350+ cryptocurrencies — widest selection reviewed
  • NFT marketplace and DeFi wallet built in
◇ SKIP IT IF
  • 1.3/5 Trustpilot — worst score among major crypto banks
  • CRO token crashed 90%+ from ATH — rewards worth much less
  • Accounts frequently frozen with poor resolution
  • High CRO stake required for best card tiers

§ 02 THE FIELD TEST

How we tested Crypto.com.

CRO staking requirement for card tiers is the single biggest friction point — the Obsidian tier requires a $400k+ CRO lock, which concentrates platform risk. Ruby Steel at $400 CRO is a more realistic entry point. Card rewards were materially lower than the 2021 marketing suggested, which matches the repeated rewards-cut history. Support reply time was slower than Nexo or Revolut.
