◆ PRIMER
What MiCA actually changes.

MiCA — Markets in Crypto-Assets — is the EU's first end-to-end crypto framework. It does three things: it requires every crypto-asset service provider to hold a passport from one EU regulator (good in all 27), it mandates capital reserves and audited financials, and it forces stablecoin issuers to hold 1:1 backing in a segregated account.

What changes for users: no more grey-zone. If a platform accepts EU customers without a MiCA passport, it's operating illegally. We hide affiliate links from users in EU countries when the platform has not passported.
